Backstory
Introduction:

Legend states that in a forest unknown, lived a tribe of Druids. They were a friendly people that were one with nature. Among their people lived a kind spirited female with eyes as pink as a rose, and her hair was a purple that highlighted her face. But little did she know of the darkness looming in the near future.

Chapter One: The Druid Girl.

It was a beautiful and promising day in the small village, all the plant life was lush and in bloom as the wonderful scent of flowers filled the air. Throughout the small village, the villagers were at work tending to the plants. Meanwhile, just outside the village a little girl was playing with a young deer and rabbit. She would laugh and smile as the trio chased each other; her purple hair flowed about in the air as her pink eyes sparkled with delight and curiosity. Her robes a traditional green with two flowers on the sleeves that were rather long, hiding her hands as she ran with the woodland creatures.

Feeling the wind in her hair and the pleasant aroma she laughed and smiled as she ran. Then she looked to her left with a curious face, seeing a faint glimmer in the grass in front of an old willow tree. “What's that?...could it be!” She drew near then squealed with joy as she lifted a large lustrous ruby in the light. “Woah….it’s so pretty!!” She smiled as the light refracted inside and painted the forest around in majestic rainbows. She turns to the deer and rabbit and softly pets them saying “Bye now! I have to show my mommy this one!!” She stood and started running to the village giddily passing villagers that looked to her for a moment with a smile, then went back to work. She reached a small hut and went inside closing the door behind. She looked left then right and started for the makeshift kitchen. Inside was a beautiful woman with a smile across her face that turned to her. “Mommy, mommy I found another one!!” She said handing the ruby to her, who smiled again. “Oh how pretty!! Why don't we put it with the others?” She asked as her daughter replied. “Ok!!” She then ran out and to the left to her room and comes back with a wooden box with various glimmering jewels inside. The mother gently opens it and places the ruby carefully inside and pats her head. “Compared to these gems there is only one that glimmers more gracefully, and that is you Deularla Ararona!” The daughter smiles back as the flashback ends.

Chapter Two: Shining Memories

Deularla can be seen standing in the trees overviewing the sight of humans starting to plow down the forest. Angrily she bit her lip and jumped down throwing diamond made throwing knives at the group, who in turn jumped back. “Who’s there!?” A man yelled out as he took two steps back. She then stepped out of the shadow of the trees and bellowed. “I Deularla Ararona, am the protector of this sacred ground! Do not go any further, or you will pay the price!” She said sternly as she threw a few more at their feet, each replacing another inside her sleeves by materializing.

Meanwhile, ten feet below ground and a mile away a shimmering sphere is seen, and inside is Deularla Ararona herself. She looks at the cut gems on the sides of the sphere, each reflecting the viewpoint of one of her clones. She lifted her arms up and stretched. “Ugh…. Don't those humans ever give up?” She said annoyed as she watches them run from the clone. She stare off into space as she mumbled. “Mom…. If it didn't happen…things wouldn't be like this….” She said with a sigh as she waved her right hand from her left to her right as the cloned turn to small shards of Quartz and shatter on the ground as her own dome shatters and. Covers herself in dirt and grass. “Damn it, I didn't think that through!!!” She said angrily but monotoned as she got up and brushed off her cloak. “Tsk…” She said as she leapt into the trees and made her way to a slow flowing river. Kneeling down she takes a hand full of water and washed off her face before getting a drink. Once done, she places her hands down to support her body as she stared into the water and started to remember fragments of her past.

She is seen as a little girl with her mother placing the ruby inside the box. Right after talking inaudibly with a smile she gasps and hugs her daughter, protecting her as an odd black wave cut through the village her

wooden box hit the floor as the gems rolled onto the floor, slicing everything it made contact with. They glowed for a brief moment making a protective dome around her then abruptly vanished. Slowly opening her eyes from the sudden events that took place she gasps and starts to tremble. Terrified she stepped back in horror as she saw a very graphic image of her mother's mangled corpse. Screaming and crying she ran to get help as she saw the mangled bodies throughout the destroyed village, nobody alive but her; scared and alone, the only thing she saw was a pillar of darkness in the distance. Shaking her head she snapped out of the flashback and gasped seeing that she made sharp spires of Rhodonite crystals, waving her hand she shatters them and pants heavily, even she unsure why they form when she remembers that day.

Chapter Three: The Creature

Looking up she sees the shadow of something vanish from the cliff of the waterfall. Raising an eyebrow for curiosity she nimbly scales the cliff. At the top she stood and looked around quietly, only to see a floating shimmer between two trees and something go through it quickly. “Of the 342 years I have lived in the forest I have never seen anything like that….” She said to herself as she approaches the rift her hand raised to touch it. A flicker of memories flood her head from the times before when she thought of her past, and every time something would run off right after. Shaking her head and taking a breath she says “I don't know what you are…. But you know something….” She touched the rift and in a blink of an eye all around was changed over the years her home a large city, above was an odd floating creature which crashed to the ground. A few seconds later, or as it seemed a black mass absorbed the side of the city around a building as the creature walks away. She then jumps back a bit as the days and nights start to slow to a stop as she arrived 329 more years into the future. Looking around in question she sees skyscrapers about, her in particular was standing on one herself. She tries to hold back tears as she fell to her knees. “It's….gone…..” She lowered her head in sadness, all that she protected was gone. A single tear fell to the ground as she then stood and walked to the roofs edge. “Humans….. Unforgivable…..Take….Take….” She clenched her fists as the air started to shimmer. “...All They Ever Do Is Take!?” She shouts as the glimmering in the air solidifies into numerous diamond shards that rain down at great speeds, despite their size, they easily level the city to near nothing. From the massive clouds of dust she walks away, more broken than before.

After getting a little distance she turns around to view the damage with a little smirk as the diamonds vanish into a glittering cloud. She slowly turns again to walk away from the distraction only to gasp and have wide eyes. Trembling she looked to her shoulder blade seeing a dart sticking from her body. She rips it out quickly, but it was too late. Her eyes roll back as she passes out only to see the black shoes of two men slowly approach, then all goes black.

Waking up to what seemed like hours later, she groggily asked. “...where… Am I?” As she looked about seeing strange machines and other devices, all completely new to her as she gets an answer and her eyes dart forward to a sinister looking scientist. “That my dear is classified. But you know what Is not…?” He said as he leans in close and tightly grips her clothes. “....the beast…. Where is it!?” He demanded as she tried to lift her arms to get away, but could not as she found herself tied to a chair. “What the hell are you talking about!?” She yelled back at him then head-butted him hard enough to make him bleed. Stumbling back he starts to slightly laugh as a monitor turns on showing brief footage of a black and white wolf appearing in the city. “This creature….” He points to it then fast forwards the video four months ahead and she is seen appearing from the same exact spot as he did. “You came through that same anomaly that he came through…. And you dare tell me that you don't know anything about it?!” He slaps her hard across the face making her bleed, then commands. “Take her away…. We have other ways of making her talk.”

Chapter Four: Shattered Mind

Days turn to weeks as the unknown group cover Deularla’s body with bruises, blisters, and scars. She tries to stand in a padded room but cannot. Her legs braced to the floor, her arms tied towards the ceiling as a large collar like object covered her neck forcing her forward if she tried to use her powers the action extremely painful as her neck was forced forward, almost to its breaking point. She looks to the door her skin pale and her body shaking in fear and undernourishment. Inside the scientist walks inside with a big scar on the left side of his face from his chin and up his eye. “I will say…. You gave us a surprise…” He continued forward to her. “ I never expected you to be able to use powers like you have…. And strong too….” He feels his scar angrily before punching her across the face. She in turn winced and looked up to him, her eyes still holding the glimmer of a strong willed person, the only thing she could say in retaliation was the word. “Die!” In a monotoned voice, her speech even affected from her neglect. She spat at his feet as he then kicked her gut winding her then walked out. She shed a few tears as she sat there helplessly. “Home…” She said before a massive explosion could be heard throughout the building. She looks up as alarms blare and her door flung open. She watched as a few guards flew past the doorway, then a man with white hair and eyes walked in casually. He wore a black tuxedo with a red bow tie. His hair medium length and slightly messy. Using his cane he stops in front of her with a loud thud and calmly states. “Six weeks, I have been looking for you madam.” He said as he pressed the nose of the wolf head of his cane and pulled out a sword. She watched terrified shutting her eyes then opens them after hearing the sound of heavy metal hit the floor. Opening her eyes in disbelief she looks up at the smiling figure holding out a white gloved hand for her. “Right this way madam.” He says as he helps her up from her spot, her legs shook as she stood for the first time in a very long while. He snickers with a little sigh. “Guess I should have expected as much….” He says as he takes her over his shoulder carefully and walks towards the opposite way that he came from. Deularla, extremely confused as to why this man was saving her life, watched as in practically in slow motion as he fought off the enemy with ease. At the end of the hall with an exit sign above a group of thirty or so men fired a barrage of bullets at the two. He in return raised his hand and stopped them in mid flight and forced them back at the shooters at greater speed, killing them all with ease as he continued forward. A few steps ahead the scientist skids into the hall facing them with an odd looking weapon and yells inaudibly at them. The man, flinging his hand to the right, made the large gun break with a simple gust of compressed air. The two pass him as the man looks the scientist in the eyes, who in turn grabs his head in pain as his eyes bulge and the two keep walking, he covers her eyes with his hand that he is holding her with, but she still sees the scientist screaming and squirming in pain inaudibly, then suddenly stop a his head explodes leaving a massive blood splatter on the wall behind him. The door then shuts on the scene as he exits with her and she passes out. He then carefully holds her bridal style and looks down with a smile. “Don't worry madam…. I have you….” He says softly then vanishes into thin air, the building behind engulfed in flames.

Chapter Five: Forgive.

Slowly Deularla opens her eyes to find herself in a silk lined bed of a luxurious castle. “Where?!” She looks around quickly sitting up then turns beet red seeing that she was in silk button up pajamas. At that same moment the man walked in with a dress over his arm and slippers on a silver platter. She turns to face him, her feet over the edge as he gently puts them on her feet. “Who? Where?!” Her face turns even redder as he answers calmly. “Madam Deularla, you are in your home, you are a head of foreign exchanges and your own jewelry store and-” he suddenly gets kicked in the face. “NO!” She points to herself in frustration. “Delta!” Lycan rubs his face a few times before regaining his gentlemanly composure. She then felt her neck feeling that her collar was missing. She frantically looks about. “Reminder!?” Lycan reaches beside the dresser and hands the collar to her. “This is what you're looking for? And the name is Lycan.” He bows slightly as she puts it back on. “....why…” She asks looking down to him not understanding as to why he was helping her and the whole situation as well. He sighs and begins to answer. “Because I, Lycan, am at fault for your villages’ destruction. You see in my youth I had a fit of rage in my mother and father's demise. Only recently I realized that I had consequences from that rage and I am truly sorry…. I would have came to you sooner but to be truthful….” He puts a hand behind his head and chuckles nervously then continues. “.... I was a little timid so every time you would pass out I made crystals of Rhodonite as a sign of compassion and hopeful forgiveness… But every time my efforts were unnoticed, and sensed fear in your aura so I took a leap of absence to save my daughter and friend. But, when I came back I found you in one of their wretched bunkers.” For a few moments they remained silent as Lycan turned to his wolf form. Her eyes went wide comparing it to the shadows that she saw before. “You….” She starts to tear up a little and raises her hand to punch him but pauses and relaxes her hand and bawls out. “I forgive!” She hugged the wolf as he smiles with a slight chuckle and hugs back to calm her down. She kept crying into the large canines neck for a brief moment then let go, his height slightly shorter than her sitting down. He turns back to his human form with a faint smile as she pats his head. “Lycan…. Serve me?” She asks for assurance as Lycan closed his eyes still smiling a little. “Yes, your Highness, for I am a howling good butler.” She softly laughs from his comment.

He hands her her robe and covers his eyes as she quickly dresses then finally stands. “Ok.” She said as he opened his eyes and escorts her to the hall. “Your Highness, the first order of business is to report to your higher up from the house of Irikoy, Irikoy himself.” He said as he gestured to the end of the hall, a shadowy figure stood there in wait. The soon to be future unknown, at least, for now.
