A) long story short; there is an academy in Timeless Realm. Knave, Kana, Amara, Amelia, Elena, and Valery. Kana was often first top gal in class till Knave took the trophy on everything. He has teased her daily then later they connected however that ended after graduation. Knave disappeared off the grid, literally. Not even the most powerful mages can search him among many universes. Till that time in Gotham, Kana was supposed to work with someone to make a heist and that someone ended up putting a leash on her literally and she ended up in Fort Knox
